Once we get the application from Korean parents, we take some time to carefully review the students¡¯ English ability, personality, hobbies, etc. These information will be passed onto the homeschool parents.

Korean kids who apply for the exchange program are from 10 ~ 16 years old. They are from Grade 3 to Grade 10 in Korean school.
The most popular age group to apply are from 11 ? 15 years. However we may take the applicants who are younger than 10 years of age, 8-9, have the ability to communicate well, and can adapt to new culture.

The English ability for those who apply for the program may differ. But most of them are able to communicate basic needs in everyday conversation.
Officially, they learn English at school in grade 3. However, most of the children begin their learning in kindergarten or in 1 st grade through institutes or private tutoring. You can assume that they have had their study at an institute for longer than a year.
Once we get the applications, we have a personal interview to get detailed information on the applicant¡¯s English level, requirements, personality, and etc.

Most Korean children are good but can be very shy. Therefore they may not be so expressive.
We do individual interviews and select students carefully based on their personality. We prefer those who are positive and eager about the program.
Though we do our best, there may be some students who lack the understanding of different culture and may not show respect in some areas. We would like to ask the homeschooling parents to be patient and understanding with the students.

About an half of Korean students from Christian families but some student do not have any religion. However, Our program provides an opportunity for those with or without religion.
